Ekiti State Governor invites Ekiti indigenes to a meeting on how to share N4.7billion Paris refund

Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose has directed an emergency meeting with a cross section of the state's public sector workers on Thursday, July 27 at the government house. According to a statement by the Ekiti state Head of Service, Dr Olugbenga Faseluka, the meeting is aimed at discussing modalities for sharing the N4.7 billion Paris Club refund received by the state from the federal government. 

Those expected to attend the event are:

 1. Two teachers per school 

2. Two workers per local government. 

3. Leader of the House in each local government

4. Directors of administration and directors of finance and accounts 

5. Chairmen of National Union of Local Govrernment Employees, Nigerian Union of Teachers and Nigerian Union of Pensioners. 

6. Secretaries of NLC,TUC & JNC. 

7. Representatives of Industrial Unions in Ekiti State University, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, College of Education and College of Health Technology 

8. Representatives of junior and middle level staff as well as Directors of Administration and Supplies and Directors of Finance and Accounts in MDAs. 

According to the statement, the meeting will be transmitted live on Ekiti Radio 91.5FM. The Ekiti state government on Monday, July 17, received the sum of N4.7 billion as a tranche of the Paris Club refund.
