Stop disrespecting Bola Tinubu - Group warns Governor Okorocha

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has been cautioned by a group, Friends of Bola Ahmed Tinubu (FOBAT), for reportedly saying the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was crying more than the bereaved.

The group described Okorocha’s statement as disrespectful, The Nation reports. “That was a very rude statement. He was not talking about a non-entity, he was talking about the national leader of the ruling political party, his own party.

A man that commands over 20 million followers across the country," the FOBAT chairma, Ayodele Fadeyi, said on Thursday, December 14. He accused the governor of wanting to use Bola Tinubu to seek political relevance.

“It is too late for anyone to climb on Asiwaju’s back unless you want to break it. Those of us who know his worth will never allow that to happen,’’ he said.
