Real Madrid Confirmed that he will stay at Real MadridSergio Ramos during the press conference about his future. Sergio Ramos claimed that he didn’t plan to leave for China in his press conference, before subsequently admitting that he did.The Real Madrid captain spoke to the press on Thursday to clarify that his future remained at Los Blancos, despite reports strongly linking him with a move away.”No, not at all,” Ramos answered when asked if he’d ever considered moving to China. “There was an offer on the table, I won’t lie.”Therefore, it’s a proposal that you sign when your legs are failing you. If the fans don’t want me here, I would’ve been planning [to leave], but that’s not the case.”I think I’ve been loyal to the Real Madrid fans, to this badge, to this shirt. I feel loved. The relationship [with the club] wasn’t what I wanted it to be and we fixed it, but at no point was I planning to go to China, let alone because I have a contract here.”I didn’t want to leave, neither for free nor for a fee. It’s speculation and I wanted to fix it. It’s a lie, I never asked [to leave].”Ramos went on to admit that his relationship with the president is more distant than it was in the past, and that caused him to consider his future.”We’ve always had problems and we used to speak practically every day; I miss this,” he noted.”Therefore, when you’re missing something, you start to plan for things, like moving to China, but there was no debate when it came to staying here or leaving.”
