Goldberg admits his nasty collision with the ring post derailed his botched match against The Undertaker at WWE SuperShowdown. The 52-year-old, who hadn’t competed in the ring since WrestleMania 33 in April 2017, went face-to-face with The Undertaker for the first time in his 22-year career in Saudi Arabia on Friday night. But the highly anticipated match between the two wrestling icons did not go to plan following a series of failed moves from both superstars. Goldberg started with intensity as he hit The Undertaker with two spears. But Goldberg’s momentum deserted him after he ran head first into the ring post, which led to fears that he may have suffered a concussion. Goldberg, who was bleeding profusely from a nasty cut on his head after colliding with the ring post, attempted to hit The Undertaker with his jackhammer finisher but he struggled to lift his opponent and ended up dropping him on his neck. The Undertaker was also at fault as he hit Goldberg with his Tombstone finisher but the top of Goldberg’s head thumped against the canvas. This match could have literally ended both Undertaker and Goldberg career.#WWESSD #WWESuperShowDown pic.twitter.com/JeUqny5mlu — Mike (@StillBurnsCDs) June 7, 2019 Goldberg managed to kick out of a pin but the 52-year-old clearly lacked the strength to continue as he attempted his own Tombstone on The Undertaker but could keep him on his shoulders and both men slumped to the floor. The Undertaker was the first to get up and hit Goldberg with a chokeslam but the finisher looked weak as he could barely lift the former WCW champion. The Undertaker pinned Goldberg for a three count but looked furious immediately after following a woeful end to the match.
