President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan John Ameh, Abuja The President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan, has said that the absence of ministers will not affect the 2020 budget. He said budgets were usually prepared by civil servants and not ministers per se. Lawan spoke with State House Correspondents in Abuja after he held a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, was also at the meeting.
